Welcome to Quirk Communications, a strategic communications consultancy that’s passionate about helping our clients tell their stories, educate the public and drive direct action on important social issues and causes. We work with leading association, foundation and non-profit organizations to amplify their advocacy, branding and public relations objectives. Everything from educating Americans about how to make healthier choices like signing up for available health care coverage, to supporting efforts to find good families as quickly as possible for children in foster care, to driving home the value of U.S. global health investments for people around the world and right here at home.
This past fall, the Critical Path to Tuberculosis Drug Regimens (CPTR) Initiative held it’s 2014 workshops, bringing together the academic, foundation, government/regulatory, pharmaceutical and scientific communities together in Washington, D.C. to discuss progress on the testing and development of new TB drug regimens. The gathering provided an opportunity for participants to discuss emerging issues and technologies, consider regulatory processes, and to network with partners and colleagues. Quirk Communications was honored to provide the workshop’s convening report and we were touched by Uvistra Naidoo’s story of survival from extremely drug-resistant tuberculosis.
